I’ve always been interested in the arts, experimenting with different types.  In college, I became very interested in book illustration but it wasn’t until the birth of my first child that I began to pursue a career in illustration. 

I have illustrated several children’s books with The Peppertree Press and published two alphabet books of my own.  The experience has been a very positive one.  And has been a great way to jump start my career.

My desire to do photography came later.  Not happy with the pictures I was taking of my son and really wanting to document his growing up properly, I invested in a DSLR camera.  From my first picture I took with it, I was hooked and began learning from there.
